Omnipotent Servant
The Seamless Gate's ultimate war machine; a puppet of such terrifying power that it requires two Pangu Gods (the peak formation of Nuwa's camp) to barely match it.
Story context
Buckle up, fellow Daoists—this chapter is a masterclass in cold-blooded battlefield IQ. Ji Ning, locked in a seemingly endless stalemate with the Omnipotent Servant, gets hit with the ultimate desperation move from the Blackclad Godking: a hostage threat against Yu Wei's truesoul. But where a lesser protagonist would waver, Ji Ning plays 4D chess. He pretends to comply, ferociously over-committing to offense, only to reveal it was a trap to destabilize the Servant's center of gravity. One earth-shattering Heavenbreaker Stance to the knee later, he has the Seamless Gate's ultimate war machine trussed up like a holiday roast and stuffed into a gourd. The entire battlefield—friend and foe alike—stands in slack-jawed silence. This is the kind of tactical brutality that makes Xianxia combat so addictive.
Why it matters
This is a "hold your breath and watch the pro work" chapter. Pay close attention to the tactical misdirection. The Godking *thinks* he understands Ji Ning's motivation (love for Yu Wei) and his desperation. But he fundamentally underestimates Ji Ning's Dao-heart. Ji Ning doesn't try to bargain or plead; he immediately converts the emotional pressure into a ruthless, focused operational plan. The beauty of this scene is that Ji Ning's "manic" attack looks exactly like what the Godking *wants* to see—a man on the verge of cracking—when in reality it's the glacial precision of a master swordsman setting the perfect trap. The final image of the battlefield falling completely silent is the ultimate payoff. It's not just a military win; it's a psychological blow that announces to the entire war: the monster from Nuwa's camp just invalidated your best piece.
