But Han Li, with the cold calculation of a veteran, knows a thousand-year-old ghost makes for a terrible business partner. The real prize here isn't a new master—it's a clean escape. And when the dust settles, he finds something even better: a worn-out scroll with a red line leading to an ancient teleportation array, a map to a way out that was hidden right under everyone's noses.
Why it matters
