Chapter 504: Stirring the Overseas Seas, Spirit Spring
The extreme calm of the entire journey caught Han Li completely off guard.
After stepping onto the path marked by the red line and passing through several more turns, Han Li encountered no restrictions or puppets whatsoever. He easily arrived before a tall wall.
He stared at this seemingly ordinary stone wall, then flipped his hand, unfurling the tattered scroll once more. He lowered his head to compare the map, identifying the spot.
"That's right. It's here," Han Li murmured to himself.
He raised a single hand, and five azure sword lights shot forth from his fingers, stabbing into the stone wall to a depth of several feet.
Seeing this, Han Li felt a surge of delight.
There were no restrictions on the wall. It meant there truly was something else hidden within.
Then, with a slight twist of his five fingers, the five sword lights simultaneously rotated a half-circle. A round opening, about a zhang high, was easily carved out by the sharp blades.
With his other hand, he gave a light push. A large hole appeared in the stone wall, revealing nothing but pitch-black darkness beyond.
He flicked his wrist, and the sword lights abruptly vanished. In their place, a white ball of light floated up from his palm, drifting slowly into the hole.
Without hesitation, Han Li moved his body and lightly leaped inside.
This was a small secret chamber, no more than two zhang high and five or six zhang in both length and width. The floor was covered in a thick layer of dust.
But in the center of the chamber stood a genuine, albeit incredibly crude, teleportation formation.
The formation was arranged haphazardly. The runes carved into it looked rough and amateurish, as if someone who knew absolutely nothing about arrays had copied it by rote.
Han Li’s brow furrowed.
Could it be completely unusable, or had it been abandoned for ages?
He stepped forward and, relying on his knowledge of formations, inspected the teleportation array.
After a long moment, he let out a long breath.
Though crude, the array was still usable. Furthermore, it didn’t look like a long-distance teleportation formation. He estimated that teleporting wouldn’t send him to some completely unfamiliar place hundreds of thousands of li away.
He took out a few spirit stones and quickly installed them at the four corners of the array.
After a buzzing sound, the formation began to emit a faint fluorescent light.
Seeing this, Han Li gave a slight smile.
But he didn’t immediately activate the teleport. Instead, he turned his head to look back at the hole he had made. He stood there, lost in thought for a moment.
Then, he walked back over and cast several minor restoration spells upon it. The rubble instantly sealed the opening again, restoring the stone wall to its original state.
Only then did Han Li clap his hands together, step onto the teleportation formation, and disappear in a flash of white light.
The next moment, Han Li’s figure appeared in a patch of faint mist. It was slightly damp and warm, and an indescribable fragrance assaulted his senses.
But Han Li stood frozen in the dilapidated formation, staring blankly ahead with his mouth hanging wide open, unable to close it for a long time.
About a zhang in front of him was a milky-white pool over ten zhang in size. The white mist and the fragrance were emanating from this pool.
However, what shocked him was not this. Inside the pool was a naked, female body standing half-upright, facing him with a bent-over posture, as if she had been playing in the water.
The woman had exaggeratedly voluptuous, perfectly curved figure, ivory-toned skin with a luminous gloss, and jet-black hair that reached her waist. Everything marked her as a beautiful young woman in her prime.
Such an unexpected encounter caused Han Li’s mouth to go dry, and his mind grew dizzy for a moment. But when his gaze landed on a face that was both exquisitely beautiful and full of disbelief, he froze, then let out a bitter smile.
"Miss Yuan. What a coincidence! We meet again so soon. Though it seems my timing is a bit… inappropriate," Han Li said blandly, his eyes casually and unabashedly sweeping over the woman’s nude body. His tone carried no real sincerity.
The naked young woman in the pool was none other than the stunningly beautiful Yuan Yao, who had disappeared without a trace after entering the inner hall.
Yuan Yao had been utterly shocked by Han Li’s sudden appearance. Now that she had registered his words, she snapped back to reality, her face flushing a brilliant red.
She hurriedly covered her proud, jade-white breasts and the twin peaks of crimson standing atop them with her hands, and scolded in a voice full of shame and fury: "How did you get here? That teleportation array was supposed to be abandoned and unusable! You… you turn around immediately!" Yuan Yao looked both surprised and angry.
At her words, Han Li smiled faintly. Instead of answering, he casually stepped out of the teleportation array and took a look around.
This was a massive stone chamber, about thirty or forty zhang in size. On the left and right were a pair of ordinary stone doors.
On the opposite side of the pool from Han Li lay a pile of black clothes and a few storage pouches.
On the stone wall a few zhang behind that, there was a white jade carving of a dragon’s head. A few feet below the dragon’s head was a glowing green recess, within which sat a long-necked green jade bottle, as if it were catching something.
As soon as Yuan Yao saw Han Li’s gaze land on the green jade bottle, she instantly forgot her shame and her expression changed drastically.
But Han Li seemed to see nothing and immediately averted his gaze. Instead, he walked a few steps to the edge of the pool and looked down at the milky-white liquid.
Yuan Yao secretly let out a breath of relief, her beautiful face returning to normal. But her alluring eyes flickered with a strange light, as if she was weighing something.
At this moment, Han Li seemed to recall something. He suddenly reached out and gently scooped up some water from the pool.
Some of the milky pool water was easily captured and brought before his eyes.
This pool water overflowed with a strange fragrance and was filled with pure spiritual energy from heaven and earth. But after a few moments, before Han Li’s very eyes, the fragrance and spiritual energy vanished without a trace, turning into ordinary water.
Han Li’s face showed a hint of emotion.
"A Spirit Eye Spring! I never would have thought the master of the Heavenvoid Hall relocated such a large spirit spring to this place. Could it be that Miss Yuan risked coming so deep into the inner hall just for this?" Han Li gently tossed the drop of water from his hand and unhurriedly addressed the great beauty in the pool.
"Hmph! Is Fellow Daoist Han really speaking to a lady like this? Haven't you seen enough? Do you want me to stand here naked a while longer?" Yuan Yao had regained her composure, but seeing Han Li still unabashedly scrutinizing her exposed shoulders, she sank a little deeper into the water and retorted with some irritation.
But with her peerless beauty, no matter how irritated she looked, it still seemed infinitely charming. Add to that her current state—naked, with her black hair flowing down her shoulders—the scene was filled with boundless temptation.
She truly was a femme fatale.
Han Li fixed his gaze on her face, feeling a stirring in his heart.
Though he had always kept his desires in check and tried to restrain his passions, he was still a normal man. In such a scene, while he wouldn't do anything disgraceful, he certainly wouldn't mind indulging his eyes a little and engaging in some light-hearted banter.
So Han Li sat down by the edge of the pool, took off his boots, and brazenly soaked both feet in the water. He said unhurriedly: "If Miss Yuan wishes to get dressed, please go right ahead. I certainly won't try to stop you. But since I've had the fortune of witnessing a beauty's bath, I won't be so hypocritical as to play the gentleman. I'll naturally enjoy watching to my heart's content." After saying this, Han Li rested his chin in his hands and stared smilingly at the blushing beauty in the water.
"You…!" Yuan Yao’s face was as red as blood, and she seemed on the verge of saying something.
But then her jet-black eyes made a slight turn, and in an instant, her charming expression returned to normal. She gave a playful smile and giggled: "Hehe! I really thought you were a wooden lump, Fellow Daoist, with no understanding of how to cherish a beauty! I never expected Brother Han to have a poetic side."
"I have experienced great kindness from you. Even letting Brother Han look at my body is nothing worth mentioning. How could we cultivators place such weight on a mere bag of flesh and skin? I'll go get dressed, then." After saying this, she stretched a jade-white arm from the water as if teasing him, gently brushed her black hair aside, and gave Han Li a bewitching smile. For a moment, her jade-like face radiated light, as beautiful as a peach blossom.
Han Li was startled, appearing utterly captivated by her charms.
In that instant, Yuan Yao’s hands seemed to carelessly tap the water. A white, misty curtain of water instantly appeared between her and Han Li, abruptly cutting off his undisguised gaze.
Seizing this opportunity, the great beauty flew out of the pool like a heavenly fairy, shooting backward toward the clothes and storage pouches by the pool. A surge of black energy erupted from her body, instantly sweeping all the items up and rapidly covering her body.
When the black energy dissipated and her tall, elegant figure reappeared, Yuan Yao was already neatly dressed. She touched down gracefully. The long-necked green bottle beneath the dragon-head carving had vanished without a trace.
